Many Small Business Owners are exceptional in a number of areas but it can take a multitude of expertise and perspective to truly create something great. A business owner who is great at selling and the day to day front end operations is better served doing those things and getting the assistance needed for "back office" or specialty areas. Sometimes we have to think about the time wasted when we muddle through a task or do it less than "exceptionally". You make some very good points here.
