Shakti Gawain was one of my favorite writers years ago. In her book, Living With Joy she wrote, ” Do what you love and the money will follow.” At the time I didn’t quite get it because I always did what I loved and the money didn’t always follow, however I do get it now. Doing a business is hard work and if it’s a labor of love, then it is much easier to stay with it when the going gets hard. The love, passion and joy of your work will give you the oomph to stay with it and overcome any limitations. If you work just for the money, there is no motivation and no passion moving you forward.
