I have temporarily solved my cleaning problem while I am overseas. I just have to keep my luggage and briefcase tidy.

Rhoda- I actually like the "feeling"of cleaning but not the actual process. I love the result.

Yeah, I can't think when my surroundings get messy. I love to clean it all up - even the process feels good, making order. Organizing shelves, cleaning drawers, cleaning my desk or the kitchen counters, it all makes me feel relaxed and open. AND, about the mess being our partner's fault, well it iS! (often)

Thanks for all your support Fran, Nancy, Erin, and Rich.

My office was all cleaned up on Tuesday and today the mess is slowly creeping back in like a fast growing vine. Hmm. Maybe if I stopped watering it...Yes- Rich, I agree that it is always our partner's fault. If only they would.."

Regarding Facebook. I have signed on as well and also Linked in. I would love to know how people have used these sites that have helped your business or networking.

I don't know much about blogging. So, congrats for crossing the barrier. I did figure out Facebook and I recommend it!

My house is full of papers, but I'm sure it must be Linda's fault.

As long as the Ducks keep winning, I'm doing fine thank you!

Want to visit for Thanksgiving?

Great blogging Kaya! I loved today's post. Your newsletters are well written and valuable so I correctly suspected your blog would be too. You're a gifted writer who caused me to visualize you in your office, surrounded by all that paper, with a feeling of being unsettled. When you talked about putting things in order, I could feel the calmness. Great tips for business owners and others.

It appears you've jumped throught a lot of hurdles to get your blog up and going. Congratulations!!

Girl, I know what you mean! Sometimes, my studio is so bad that I know if I were to take time to clean it, there would be no time left to do anything else! I'll share my trick ... I set a timer for a portion of the time I have on hand to work in my studio - like if I have 3 hours of home time, I set 1 hour for cleanup. When the timer goes off - that's it - I'm done cleaning. I'm amazed at how focused I can be about organizing when I know I'll get a chance to do something more creative before I have to leave the house again!

And I know what you mean about blogging ... I blog on my website also, and it's amazing how much I stress over it before doing it ... what to write, how long is it gonna take me, I'm not sure I remember how to upload it ... blah blah blah. Then when it's done I go geez, Fran, how easy was that!!! I shoulda played video games with my kids more, I think.
Happy blogging, Kaya! If we can bring home the bacon, we can upload it too! Ok - mixed metaphors but you know what I mean!
