All social media can become a giant black hole...but if you look for the applications that most strongly resonate for you, then you will be more likely to invest quality time in use.

Chris
Thanks for chiming in. I am finally beginning to "get" what this is all about. I have also started adding my Twitter url in my signature. I am waiting to see how this will all turn into business but I think it is only a matter of time. Today on my tele-class there were people from all over the country and Canada. I am not even sure how they all found me! `Kaya

The benefits seem endless... I love being able to get more personal with people in what feels like a cross between the best of a blog, forum, instant messaging, and list building.

Sometimes I enjoy the quotes people send, and the websites people refer me to.

But mostly I just building new relationships in such an efficient and open way. I've met all sorts of new delightful people I wouldn't have met otherwise!

Also, we used to always see people put their website in their signature... now we're seeing people put Twitter URLs instead!
