Overcoming my mental block around Blogging
It has been well over a month since I set up this blog and somehow I realized that I have a mental block about making it public. I am worried that I won’t do it “right” whatever that is. I guess I am a bit technically challenged. However this week I bought my first i-pod. This was a big deal as it was in the same category as blogging. But, I downloaded all my music and I love it. So, I am hoping that d0ing this blog will be fun and easy too. I love writing and sharing so it’s just the techie part that makes me feel out of my league. I am wondering if anyone can relate to having a mental block that is holding you up. It would be great to know that I am not alone.

Mental blocks about blogging….well, the times they are a changin’ no longer applies. The times, well they have changed!!
I love how you let all of us, your colleagues, clients and friends, see your humanness and it is so great that you are always carving pathways for the rest of us to not take ourselves so seriously in the midst of learning how to engage with business that is serious. Ha Ha!
Thanks for your awesome guidance!!!

Dear Kaya,
I appreciate witnessing the courage taken to undergo an unfamiliar task and share the process openly. This inspires me to consider taking simple risks and consider letting go of the big-dealness about failing or not failing.
would love to not care about failing or not pleasing people.

There are many technologically challenged! We all are at some level or another. I may know XML, CSS and some PHP, but darned if it didn’t take me a little while to figure out how to set my VCR clock to the right time the other day!
Thanks for sharing and keep up the blogging, it’s worth it.
Christian, you have been a huge help to me. Thanks for letting me know you are “human.” Actually those clocks are quite confusing. Every time that we go either on or off daylight savings I go into a turmoil about changing the clock in my car. Oh, the good old days of clocks with hands.
Shannon, regarding courage. Yes- it takes huge courage to take risks and do something you don’t know how to do. I always feel better when people are willing to be ordinary and show their struggles. It is the way we all learn. I am hoping that this blog will have the component of helping people learn from each other. So, I would love to hear more from you about what risks you want to take.
Jacke, yes the times have changed and we are changing with them; kicking and screaming, but we are doing it!
